Seams to be very durable. Like how there is virtually no dust when it is hooked up to a shop vac. Have had this product for 2 weeks.

Great sanding abilities. Seems as though it could be a couple of pounds lighter. Great product though,

Sander made it so easy to sand joints and left very little dust.

overall its a great time saver, the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that to do the ceiling you have to push so hard to get it flat, that it bogs down and digs in to much. I think its because of the cable that spins the pad. it is great for the walls

I’ve been using portercable power sanders on a very consistant basis for the past 12 years and they have always performed very well! I would choose this powersander over the competition everytime. They are fairly light, and not all that cumbersome. I own five of these sanders. With the one im retiring being close to 16 years old I think it’s safe to say that these things are built extremely well and can handle years of use. Just a little preventative maintenance helps these things last!

It seems like a great tool. Only issue I have is unfortunately it is to big and bulky for the areas I’m trying to do. If your doing a new build home or commercial project this thing would be absolutely amazing.

Good, professional grade tool at a reasonable cost compared to other pro-grade tools. Back breaking though, especially on ceilings. This is not a tool I want to be using on a daily basis, but that is more the nature of the work rather than issues with the tool itself. Good vacuum connection is a must as this tool creates a ton of drywall dust in operation, and a regular shop vac will load up the filter quickly and loose suction rapidly. If I were to use this tool a lot I would purchase a dedicated vac designed to be used with this. For occasional use a regular shop vac will get you by.

From a general contractors / home remodelers perspective…this is almost as important to have on the job site as a tool belt!

I have used different drywall sanders and this is the best one I have used. It extremely heavy and the articulation of the head is very smooth. When hooked up to a good shop vac there is virtually no dust which is important to me as most of my work is remodeling and I don’t have dust getting in the rest of my customers house.

I’m a contractor which used to rent this machine at HD, decided to purchase it along with a professional dust free vacuum. Great purchase, awesome work on walls, a bit heavy on the ceilings, but great results when combine with the proper sanding paper grades. For corners you will still have to use hand sanding block.

Much better suction then my previous ones I’ve owned and used. I run a drywall business and am not disappointed with the performance of this tool. Cuts my sanding time down by 75%. It is a little heavy but over all you get used it & just have to build up your arms.

I’ve got a basement finishing project around 1000 square feet of drywall. This makes sanding easy and best of all clean.
