The PORTER-CABLE 2.25 hp Fixed Base Router Kit features full-time electronic feedback to maintain motor speed throughout the toughest applications. With its variable-speed control (from 10,000 to 23,000 RPM), you get optimal bit speed for all of your many jobs. With the dual-position switch, you can cut the power while maintaining control of the router.

- Rack and pinion adjustment for fine depth settings to 0.0078 in
- Overmolded grips for greater comfort during extended use
- Spindle lock feature for single-wrench bit changes

Bought this router and a Porter-Cable dovetail jig for making drawers and boxes, Have only made a few drawers and a lot of practice pieces. Could not be more satisfied. Soft start and micro adjustment works very well. Had to order a different base in order to use the dovetail jig bushings. But now I have two bases
