This pneumatic finish nailer is very nice. I like the swivel belt hook, very handy. I have been shooting 2 1/2″ nails and they set very nicely. I now see why the angled head is important. It helps a lot in reaching into corners. I had a nail not set and jam in the gun. It was my fault. The nose clamp opened easily and released the jammed nail without difficulty. I have other guns that require tools to release a jammed nail and are aggravating. Though I have only started using this gun I know it will be my go to. I have several other guns and this one has already proven to be superior.

Had the predecessor to this product for almost 20 years. It blew one of its gaskets and I needed a replacement, now so I bought the same thing. I’ll rebuild the old one and then I’ll have two because sometimes you need multiple nail lengths. This job was weathered oak but, it seems more like tool steel. I don’t remember a single misfire

I personally love Porter Cable products. I bought this gun to replace one I had similar to it for 11 years. Well made excellent products. My only complaint is that you must use Porter Cable nails, due to the 34 degree slide tray.

Nice tool. Easy to use. It has the right authority to anchor most jobs that I am doing. I bought it to anchor door casings, and I am very happy that I did. It made the job so much easier, especially when you are working solo. I will also use it to tack things in place while I work on them, even light framing. I have always had good performance from Porter and Cable tools.

Always been a fan of porter cable products great nail gun
Natalie Doyle (verified owner) –
The gun works as I was hoping it would and uses nail sizes as big and small as I needed. It’s lighter than I thought and since it comes with a storage container that made it a better buy.

Lightweight and handles well

It works solid for hardwood flooring. Light weight but still a mostly metal exo.

Finish Nailer worked great right out of the case. Light weight, and low noise compared to most older nailers. Easy to use overhead and at odd angles.
