Description
Ideal for carpenters, woodworkers and DIYers, the Clipped-Head Framing Nailer touts a variety of features including a selectable trigger allowing the flexibility to choose between restrictive or contact actuation modes. For ease of use, the tool is also equipped with a depth-of-drive feature, a low nail lock-out mechanism to alert you to reload the tool and a reversible rafter hook for hanging the tool on the left or right side. Additionally, the over-molded grip provides comfort and control when working.

I bought this nailer for basement finishing work. the nailer is solid and works very well with my 3 gallon compressor. The only this is the size of the rear end. When I set up the frames on the floor it doesn’t allow me to be totally parallel to the basement floor because the rear of the nailer is fat. I like to keep my tools perfectly clean with no scratches so I placed some tape where the nailer would scrap against the basement floor while framing the walls on the floor.Very good purchase and I would do it again.

I just received the nail gun and there is no case. Why does Home Depot show the nailer with a case if it doesn’t come with one? There isn’t even a bag!

Works great out of the box. The rubber bumper seems a little flimsy and I am sure that will be one of the first things to break or lose. Went through a box of ring shanks with one misfeed which was probably my fault anyway. Time will tell but if this is anything like my last one it should hold me over for the next 10 years. Homeowner with big ambitions.

I bought this to replace a 25-year-old PC nailer, It’s lighter, I imagine there’s more plastic than the older one. I do like the hanger which is handy, Quite a bit louder than my old one but it’s settling down a little after 2 weeks use.
