I bought several sets of Porter Cable Air Compressors and nail guns. The first set was stolen, so I replaced it. This nail gun out of the second set worked well. Several days ago while using it, it fell about four feet, not very hard, and now it won’t function. A rebuild kit was $55 and a new gun was $129, so I bought a new gun. Could not justify trying to fix the old one and spending almost half of the cost of a new one. Have not used the new one yet. Only gave it four stars because that fall should not have killed the old one. I have about as dozen guns and have used some for forty years. Good gun, just not tough enough for construction.

Great nailer. Operates flawlessly. Saved almost $80 going with the porter cable as opposed to the bright yellow competitor.

Used by a DIYer to attach new baseboards in a couple of rooms. Worked great. Did not jam. Easy to adjust nail depth. Got the job done. Absolutely no complaints.

I had one previously which worked for many years. Bought a new one hoping for similar results!!!!

Not as good as the thirteen year-old Porter-Cable unit that it replaced. The shoe is not as compact and it won’t accept 3/4″ nails as the old one did. Also it is more difficult to clear a jam on the new one. Newer is not always better. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

I used it to finish my addition and it works great

This one replaced one that I have had for many years. If it works as good as the one it replaced it will have earned the rating I just gave it. Only time will tell but so far, so good.
