The Porter-Cable 16-Gauge 2-1/2 in. Finish Nailer offers durability and convenience in a compact design. It has a maintenance-free motor designed for long life and an internal piston catch for consistent power. The depth-of-drive is adjustable and jams can be easily freed without tools. This nailer has an adjustable exhaust port to help maintain a clean work surface and direct particulates away from the user.

Nice nailer but would not spend the full price on it. Bought it on sale and I do not like having to change the nose out to change firing modes. Ridgid and dewalt make it easy to do. Not porter cable. Overall nice nailer without a jam after a lot of use but for the price, not worth it to me.

This gun is good for the price point. Oil it before each use as you would with all air nailers. I had a failure with mine fairly early on. Bought another one just like it. In my line of carpentry, (outdoor) you need two of a lot of tools to keep one running at all times. The repair for this unit was extremely inexpensive. Would definitely recommend this model for homeowners and diy work.

I bought this as a replacement to my previous Porter Cable finish nailer, which I loved but wore out. This one works well for 2” nails, but 2.5” nails get hung up in the chute and won’t slide. The end results is a lot of blank shots. Very frustrating. I’ve even lubricated the charge chute but it didn’t help. May take it back to Home Depot.

Got this nailer to install a flat accent wall and had absolutely no issues with the 2000 plus nails I used. Great tool for the weekend warrior. Not sure how well it will fare in the long run but only time will tell.

Due to time constraints in needing to finish my project I bought this product. It replaced my previous Porter Cable finish nailer (prior model) which needed repairs that would have cost me almost as much as buying a new one. I will have my first one repaired and given as a gift to my son-in-law. This unit worked well until I tried to remove the unused nails at the end of my project. It was disappointing but not a difficult problem to remove the nails due to hatch cover made for that specific purpose. Still, I will find it a bit irksome if it continues to be a problem.

I used this gun to secure oak stair treads to the sub floor and it worked beautifully! You could barely see the nail holes. This is the only job I have used it for.
