Description
Ideal for carpenters, woodworkers and DIYers, the FR350B touts a variety of features, including a selectable trigger, allowing the flexibility to choose between restrictive or contact actuation modes. For ease of use, the tool is also equipped with a depth-of-drive feature, a low-nail lockout mechanism to alert the user to reload and a reversible rafter hook for hanging the tool on the left or right side. Additionally, the over-molded grip provides utmost comfort and control when working.

I am not a pro, so I have used the frame nailer only a few times. Likewise, I have used the palm nailer only a few times. There is a learning curve with the palm nailer, but a little practice goes a long way if you have never used one. You can go as fast or as slow as you want. You can place the nail exactly where you want it and proceed. Frame nailer is heavy, but all are. I have other Porter Cable nailers and have been very pleased with them.

I bought this compressor to replace one that I had, mostly because of the weight of my first one. This one is lighter and easier to carry. It is a bit louder than the one it replaced but as this will be used for smaller projects it will not be a problem.
