The jigsaw works well, has ample power while not draining the battery significantly. Change out of the blade is quick and easy. It is light weight compared to my corded Porter Cable jigsaw.

I really like my porter cable tool set and this jig saw. I have the whole set and bought extra batteries for my drills, grinder, table saw, multi tool. I’m building my van and do handy man work with them. I use the drills every day and the porter cable tools feel hefty and well built. No complaints. And they have some time saving features. Not sure why they were discontinued.

Only complaint is that the shoe is a little flimsy, have to be careful not to push too hard against a cut guide or it will flex, causing the blade to be out of perpendicular to the cut. Other than that, works great.

I own this jigsaw and would 100% recommend it. I only us the red batteries from porter cable. I have the regular ones and the big ones. I have no issues with battery life when trimming flag ends. Make sure you have good blades and you will not be disappointed. The Jig is very light in my opinion which cuts down on the user getting tired.
