This Combo Kit is the perfect combination of a 1/2 in. 2-speed drill/driver, 5-1/2 in. Circular Saw, Compact Reciprocating Saw, and LED work light. These tools give you the power, weight, and ergonomics to get the job done with reduced user fatigue. The kit includes an 18 Tooth carbide blade and a reciprocating saw blade with tool-free blade change and pivoting shoe. Plus, the Lithium-Ion Batteries keep you ready and working with little or no downtime.

Great. Just great. A nice American-made tool kit. I think they company’s been bought by Craftsman, but before that they had been around for about a century. I’m no professional, but these tools are better than most random drills, etc I’ve bought over the years.

It’s a decent combo kit for the money. It’s good for piddling around the house on little projects. If you’re a real carpenter you couldn’t use it doing real work every day, it’s not that good I’d give it 10 to 12 months of life span for every day professional work. But everyone should have a cordless drill around the house for different purposes and this one would be ok for that. That’s just my opinion. Be safe out there dudes.

I purchased this set slightly over 3 years ago and have added the 18ga Brad nailer, job site radio, 1/4″ impact driver and jig saw to the fleet since then.I have been an industrial Maintenance mechanic for the last 24 years and have owned and used many Porter Cable products through the years that have never let me down. I did purchase 2 Porter cable speed chargers and several 4 amp hour after market batteries to go along with this set to keep cost to my budget down. I am very pleased with the performance of these tools under the conditions which I use them. Now granted I am not a carpenter so there for do not use many of these tools on a daily basis at work so that I am sure helps with the longevity of these tools but the 1/4″ impact driver is one of my go to’s on a daily basis and has never let me down with next being the 1/2″ drive drill. now don’t get me wrong you are not going to put these side by side with a red tool and get the same peak performance but you will get the job done and be pleased with there performance as for the rest of the set that I use occasionally I have had no issues other than replacing the stock Porter cable circular saw blade with a more high quality blade which made a tremendous difference with the battery life. If you are looking for a tool set that you plan on working hard to the max every single day this is probably not the set for you, but if you are looking for something affordable with a more lighter duty/occasional usage this is a great deal.

I have owned the set for a couple of years now and it has served all of my needs well. However one drop from just 5 or 6 feet off the ground caused the drill to stop working permanently. That was very disappointing but otherwise a good set.

So far so good, I use the circular saw to cut some 2×6 and 2×4 with no problem. My issue is I’m left handed it’s difficult to follow the line, I can’t see the blade. I can cut with my right but not as good. The drill works good powerful enough I had no problems with it.I have not use the reciprocating saw yet and the light is ok not as bright as would like but good enough. All in all I’m satisfied, I like the convenient of the same battery for all tools.
