Have only shot 1″ pins in it so far,but does good at that. Was shooting into oak and had no problem. The only problem i have had, with me being a carpenter,is the hook that is made on to it.Will not stay “hooked”on things! That little problem can be overlooked with it’s small size.

Tried and true. I tried to save a few bucks and purchased a cheap nail gun, it failed within 8 hours and I ended up having to buy the Porter Cable anyway.

Excellent pin nailer. I had no experience using such a tool but had some cabinet trim to put up. I practiced on a scrap piece of lumber and felt comfortable operating the nailer in no time. My trim pieces went up beautifully. Light weight, easy to handle, easy to use one handed. Love it. Will be looking for more projects that I can do.

I bought this gun to attach small thin moldings to the bottom of my cabinets. Seems very well made and with the headless pin nails leaves nothing but a tiny hole you can barely see.

perfect for tacking trim in place. nail is perfectly flush and will easily paint.

Light and powerful (for its rated purpose), I bought it for a specific usage and didn’t fail me!

Best price, beats all other prices I’ve found … This pin nailer is highly rated and with the great price at Home Depot it competes with second tier products available elsewhere. This is a new purchase so I Can’t vouch for it’s durability, but I’ve always gotten reliable performance from this Co’s products !

I found that when used on hardwood(cherry 3/4 inch thick) the pins tend to follow the grain and come out in the object mount thru the surface even if placed 1/2 inch below the surface the wood is being attached to. Maybe not a tool problem but some warning of the potential for the pin to follow the grain. Once it happens it is tough to correct

Great tool right out of the box

Ready to go out of the box. I like the oil free head for less marking of the wood
