Easy to use, great option for tight spaces. Hammer mechanism has been jammed by smaller nail heads on a couple occasions, but I’ve been able to pull out the nails with pliers. Cannot adjust the “hammering” pressure, which has left small to noticeably larger dents in the material I’m putting the nails in.

It seem to work well. I did find out that all 16d nail heads aren’t the same size. I had to do some sorting to find those that would fit. But it drives them effortlessly and is light and easy to use. I’ve only used it for one day so I don’t know if my opinion will change. Today it worked great.

Very happy with the performance of the Framing Nailer. And the Palm Nailer is really a cool tool. Note: Read the Instructions and Safety info booklet! I’m a beginner and usually don’t read silly Safety info that comes along with stuff. But I noticed that there was an unusually large amount of Safety info. So I started reading it and found it to be extremely informative and very helpful! I’m so glad I found this package deal. And the price was right! Over all I am so happy I purchased Porter-Cable. It’s good stuff!

I purchased this nailer before going to the job today. I’m building a complex deck and need to put in lots of joist hangers — 16 nails per joist. But I have a rotator cuff injury and I was not looking forward to the pain or to the additional damage to my right shoulder. I saw this gadget a week ago at HD and decided to try it. This product works great. It is the first palm nailer I have used and I love it. The only improvement I would make would be to reduce the space between the hammer and the holder so that it could used smaller finishing nails.The big ones work fine. The smaller ones often get hung between the hammer and the holder. The tool made my home repair job go much faster.

Like some of the other complaints, my nailer leaked air out of the box and failed to reciprocate. Added some nailer lube to the compressor connector and it fired right up. Needs to be lubed every 100 nails or so.
