I never knew such a tool existed, but ran across it while looking at nail guns. Don’t really need a gun right now, but I have a bunch of joists to hang and tie down. I was dreading the experience because I have a rotator cuff injury. When it was time to do the hangers I remembered this tool and decided to try it. I extremely rarely review anything. This thing is amazing! I bought this for a lvl header installation. It was driving 10d galvanized joist hanger nails in an lvl with no issues. I used it to drive 16d nails in other places and it had no problem either. The only problem I did have was fitting the 16d nails in the palm nailer, the heads we just a hair big. I ended up forcing it to drive 2 or 3 and after that the tolerances must have loosened a hair, because it would snugly fit the 16d nails in no problem. This is the smallest palm nailer I have seen and I was able to nail where I could barely squeeze my hand. A few impressions from this nailer. It had all the power I would have ever wanted. I have no idea why everyone isn’t making there palm nailers this compact. I would have gladly paid double the price for this device.
