Powerbuilt Lever Action Barrel Pump is a good pump for 30 to 55 gallon drum barrels and help disburse oil easily. This pump can only be used with oils, such as vehicle, heating, both light and heavy oils. Each stroke of the pump delivers an estimated 10 ounces of fluid. The base of the pump has threads to secure in the barrel. The spout is curved down at a good angle. The main unit is powder coated while the rest is steel.The pump does what it says it does. It delivers. It serves its purpose.Good quality. Easy to assemble. Comes with a one (1) year warranty. For those who might ask, this pump cannot and will not work with water.Thank you Powerbuilt for offering me this item.Thank you Home Depot for allowing me to try this item.I rate this 5*s out of 5.

This barrel pump is just what I needed to pump washer fluid out of a 30 gallon tank in my shop. Washer fluid is not corrosive so it was perfect for this pump. It was very easy to assemble and seems well made, the bottom half easily threads into the top half and then has two sets of threads at the top, one for 1 1/2” barrel bung and one for a 2” bung. It will pump about 10 ounces every stroke and seems to be very well put together. Will definitely recommend.

The price and quality of this little pump is great! It works fast and is easy to use. Using it on 50gal barrels of thick soap with no issues at all! Worth the purchase compared to the typical rotating type.

I’ve been using this to pump diesel out of a 55 gallon drum for a few weeks and have had no issues. Assembly was quick, couldn’t have been more than 5 minutes, and it threaded into a standard barrel without any issues. There is a small pin that goes into the handle to put pressure on the piston, I almost threw that away with the box on accident, so make sure you check the packaging carefully or you could lose it. It telescopes down to the bottom of the barrel without any issues. It did take a little work to prime the pump the first time we used it, but once the air was displaced it’s been smooth sailing. This is a nice inexpensive utility pump to have around.

It is an industrial grade barrel pump and really heavy to hold. What it also mean that, it is not good for consumers planning to use at home. I wanted to clean up (take the gas out) my snowblower before putting it away for summer and thought this would work. It did to some extent. But i i faced following challenges:- pipe too wide- the outlet/faucet from where the liquid gas would come out, was big too. And, I wasn’t able to put in the gas directly in the gas container I have. It spilled a lot. But, it did help finish the work quicker. That’s why the 4 stars and recommend to buy for industrial users. May be not so much for regular home consumers.
