This 18-volt lithium-ion cordless hedge trimmer with its 1.5 Ah battery and charger joined my household today of cordless equipment. To say that I LOVE cordless battery-operated equipment is an understatement. At my house, you will not find any equipment containing the nasty smell or the mess of gas-operated equipment. This hedge trimmer has a nice 16 inch steel blade with a ½ inch cutting capacity. It cuts through the branches cleanly and moves quickly toward completion of the job. The great part is that it can cut through thick bush branches and hedges like its gasoline-powered friends but the difference stops there. No running to the gas station to fill up a gas can and then rush home to finish the job. This hedge trimmer is very lightweight because it lacks the extra weight of a gasoline engine. I highly recommend this cordless hedge trimmer to any DIYer who wants to trade in their old fashioned gasoline equipment for the functional ease of battery-operated equipment. It’s time to change.

This is a good unit and lasts to do the job. However, there is a flaw. You Must use both hands to operate. Doesn’t give you a one hand operation for hard to reach areas. Had that on my electric Black & Decker. When doing high and deep bushes, could reach with one hand. Very disappointed in that i.

Nice battery life (got about 2 hrs on one charge) and cuts very nicely. I wish that the design was more ergonomic, but for the price, this is a very good deal. Battery recharge time was only about an hour before the light turned green again.

One problem. Two small bolts were not included which hold the handle on. I called the product customer service several times before I finally got through, a recorded message! I left information about the missing bolts. To this day, almost 4 weeks later, I have not received a call back. I was able to find a couple of bolts that closely match in my own supply of odd ends. The unit works fine. I’m concerned about the future when I might need parts based upon my customer service. NONE PROVIDED!! It makes me wonder if the warranty will be honored.
