I was pleased with the band saw blade. In the past I purchased blades that cost twice as much with the same results. I slab sawed six inch cherry wood and eight inch thick elm wood with perfect results. I was sawed slowly and achieved smooth surfaces requiring little sanding. The blade ran true through the fenced cuts, no wavering either way.

Although this is not an expensive blade, and for the money it’s probably ok. I bought it to resaw some black walnut at about 10″ thick. It didn’t get through the first 12 ” without smoking. For softwoods it would probably do a lot better.
