The POWERTEC Aluminum Oxide, Hook and Loop Sanding Discs, provide the ultimate in durability, performance, versatility and cutting potency for all your sanding and polishing needs. The superior aluminum-oxide grain construction insures optimal sanding capacity. Open-coated grain prevents inefficient buildup material on the sandpaper. Resin bond provides heat resistance. This sandpaper maintains its cutting edge, up to 4 times longer than the standard sanding discs.

This sandpaper sands super well and way better than more expensive brands. However it does not stay on the sander very long because the “loop” material comes off pretty easily. You have to run the sander at about 1/2 speed or the disk shoots off the sander and can’t be reattached because the loop material is destroyed at that point. But once you get a technique down for using this product it works better that any other 40-grit that I have used.
