The POWERTEC Aluminum Oxide, Hook and Loop Sanding Discs, provide the ultimate in durability, performance, versatility and cutting potency for all your sanding and polishing needs. The superior aluminum-oxide grain construction insures optimal sanding capacity. Open-coated grain prevents inefficient buildup material on the sandpaper. Resin bond provides heat resistance. This sandpaper maintains its cutting edge, up to 4 times longer than the standard sanding discs.

Boy does this take the wood off. Using on my new Ridgid 6″ RO Sander on the highest speed setting.Sanded 4 coats of paint off of one side of a 8′ 6×6 cedar post to bare wood in less than 5 min.Would also recommend the sander to anyone who does serious wood working.
