I purchased three different dust collector hoses. The other two were from a wood working site. By far this was the better hose. This hose when stretched stays stretched. The other hoses have a larger tighter wire reinforcement which pulls hard to re-collapse the hose. To use the other hoses you need to securely clamp each end. In some installations that are fixed on each end this may work . But if it is portable or one end is loose they would not work. I used them for boat engine compartment vent hoses. Worked great.
