I used the roller to install carpet in a boat. I applied the adhesive and laid the carpet in place. The roller did a good job in rolling the carpet into the adhesive. Easy to use and with good results.

good quality and works well…….an improvement would be to have the roller shaft not extend beyond the roller, the shaft should be recessed so that when using the roller not to have the shaft go beyond the roller and hit anything

This product works great for what it is intended, however, I was looking for a wider roller to use on vinyl decals. This product was designed to apply laminates to wood I believe, and I have used it for that and it works great distributing the glue and removing air bubbles.

What can I say, it’s a J roller. Not much to complain about. It’s good quality with nice bearings so it rolls easy.

I don’t know why it is called a “J” roller. It doesn’t look or sound like a “J.” Functionally, this roller is superior to other rollers with it rubber and still metal handle. Nothing felt like it was going to bend or break even under hard pressure.

Can get to within 1/4” or so of a conflict. Would be great to get right up tight, but it’s not bad. I used it for applying flashing tape on several windows (relatively light service) and it worked great.
