Seems good. Bogs down if your too aggressive but a good starting point.

It arrived looking exactly like the pictures, and was well-packed. It took me only a very short while to replace the included belt with a 600-grit belt (also available on the Home Depot site) and sharpen a steak knife as an experiment. I have sharpened several knives since, and it is waaaaaayy more convenient than stroking the knife on a stone. The edge is better too.I’m quite happy with it, and would recommend it to hobbyist users like myself.

I like this little unit. Nice and compact. Seems to have plenty of power. The belt that came with it is very aggressive, but good for quick material removal. You’ll need some finer grit belts. I also bought a leather belt to use with emery belts for knife sharpening. I get a shaving edge in no time. The table adjustment bolt spline had a flaw in it and wouldn’t fully engage the spline in the handle. I used my Dremel and ground away the bad tooth and now it engages properly. The handle seems a little flimsy. I don’t know how long it will last, but so far so good.

I needed something small to sand small parts. This does a good job. I like ow you can take the backing plate off so you get more flexibility in sanding. Don’t always need a flat surface to push the piece into. It is a little difficult to get off otherwise I would have given 5 stars.
