It prints really well with inkjet, dries easily and has high strength. My only problem is that the foil is only partly clear. Assume that it is partly smokey/white – maybe 15%. For one layer settings it shouldn’t been a problem, but if you superimpose 5-6 layers the picture may turn translucent instead of transparent. For my Canon Iprograf 605 inkjet printer and 24 width it was the only choice.

Although labeled CLEAR this material actually has a slight FROSTING on back side (like Mylar Type A). Needed this to produce carrier sleeves for wide format scanner. Frosting reduces contrast and sharpness. Will have to use as the backing sheet. Still looking for truly CLEAR (like Mylar Type D). This product could be a 5 star for some people – just not me.

Was dissapointed in receiving the film to find it has a slight blue tint to it, was hoping for something almost fully transparent. Nonetheless I use it for exposing images in screenprinting now and it’s amazing. Inkjet prints dry quickly and opaque allowing for great exposures. Can’t beat the price either.

Is ideal for Making Transperency for silk screening!

This material is scratched easily when running through a printer for oversized printing.
