I’ve had pressure cookers before. Don’t remember why I let them go. This one works as I remember. I live at an elevation of over 4000 feet so cooking is much faster. Once the cooker is pressurized, it takes VERY little energy to maintain pressure. Food doesn’t dry out. A long overdue addition to my kitchen

I did not want to invest too much money for a pressure cooker that I might only use 1-2 times/yr., so I decided to get this one because of price and it is like the one my mother has, which I love. I have now use it 6/7 times and it is amazing. I don’t cook a lot but appreciate the time-savings that pressure cooking gives you, a long with the extraordinary good, tender, flavorful meats and beans, etc. I highly recommend this unit. It’s capacity is good and if you need larger, you can simply make the meal again. 10min green beans, 25min Turkey drumsticks, etc. I am buying one for my daughter who has little time to cook.

I really like this steam pressure cooker because it is simple to use and saves time. I found heat adjustment very easy to accomplish on my electric range and was impressed with the food flavors. Glad I got it, but it is not a toy and I don’t think children should use.
