The Presto 12 Cup Stainless Steel Percolator is my favorite choice for coffee for the following reasons: 1.) it brews coffee quickly; 2.) it keeps the coffee hot for as long as it is plugged in; 3.) the quantity at 12 cups is a very adequate amount of coffee for serving when guests are visiting; 4.) I can make a second pot of 12 cups quickly if necessary; 5.) the Presto Pot has demonstrated that it will last a nice number of years and so is a good investment; 5.) the pot is easy to clean even though we have very, very hard water here. I have no reservations about recommending this Presto Coffee Percolator. As I said, it is my favorite.

I really like this percolator. The coffee it makes is wonderful. I previously had Mr. Coffee drip coffee makers & have had more than 1 glass carafe break. The cost to replace the carafe is only a couple of dollars less than buying a whole new coffee maker. That seems terribly wasteful to me, plus you have to buy filters for it. No filters are necessary with the Presto percolator.

Great coffee pot. Easy to use, easy to clean, and not much to break. Simple design. We don’t need touch screens or timers. Keeps warm indefinitely. Definitely would recommend.

Have used this Presto percolator for years. Bought this one for a gift. Makes coffee hotter than most plastic drip makers. When it’s finished brewing it automatically switches to keep warm mode and doesn’t burn the coffee like cheap drippers. The popular kureig brewers have nothing on this percolator. This kureigs just brew flavorless warm water. You don’t need a 200 dollar Bunn to get good hot coffee, this presto is what you need. When you buy don’t forget to get yourself some disc filters.

I never considered a percolator since drip style monopolizes store shelves. Tired of these not keeping coffee hot and it brewing so quickly, it’s not a great coffee taste (for me), I bought this percolator. Very good quality, stays hot after brewing and the pour handle stays cool. Great tasting coffee, I use medium ground and do not have the grounds seeping through. The aroma in the kitchen is wonderful! Sometimes, you just can’t beat reverting to the older fashioned coffee maker.
