Best popper and worth the extra few $$ for quick and easy servings and minimal cleanup. Use this popper when you prefer your popcorn plain and healthy without any added ingredients. It’s so quick and easy to use!Ingredients that are added after popping will just drift down to the unpopped kernel catcher at the bottom of the bowl and is mostly wasted. And DON’T try to melt butter on top because it just makes a huge disgusting mess and might even destroy your popper. Probably best to only add toppings after transferring the popped corn into another bowl. When no extra ingredients are added, then there is nothing to clean up afterwards, and that’s the way I like it.A quarter cup of popcorn will half fill the bowl. A half cup of popcorn fills the bowl. When all the popping stops, the popping cylinder sometimes is clogged so just a shake will let the hot air push it all out and no popcorn ever gets burnt. Unplug the popper and snap the cap onto the top of the bowl and then tip the entire machine over and all the popcorn will drop into its own serving bowl. No fuss. No mess. I can’t detect any difference between the popped Jolly Time and Orville Redenbachers pop corn, so you might want to save some money on the big difference there is in price. If you want buttered movie theater popcorn then best to buy one of the table-top spinner type poppers so all the ingredients can be mixed in before you ever start popping. The big cart mounted poppers are nice but a real nightmare to keep clean. Even many of the other hot air poppers just throw kernels and popcorn all over the place. This Presto Fountain is the one to have!

Needs more weight on Bowl and heavier flaps that open vision changes

This unit works well enough, keeping the popped corn contained and stopping the UNpopped kernels from being blown out when the popping starts. The red top( bottom) snaps on. It would be better if it had a large twist action securing it. It is difficult to snap onto the bowl. No power switch though

I bought this for a self contained unit that would not spill or splash kernels or popped corn as from a free standing unit. This is accomplished, however it does require babysitting of the unit and timing to unplug the unit in order to avoid burned popcorn in the heating unit which contaminates the entire bowl. Care needs to be taken in being attentive to the placement of the bottom cover of the large bowl collecting the popcorn when inverted, else messy residue requiring clean up will occur.

This popcorn popper is a winner! It has replaced my old Stir Crazy popcorn popper, which I loved. The new popper pops kernels twice the size! Love the new one more! Note: per the instructions you can only pour 1/2 cup of kernels into the popper. I tried to put in 2/3 cup, the machine started up but shut down within seconds. Some how it knows there is more than 1/2 cup. Still love it!

I am very satisfied with the fountain popcorn popper. Extremely easy to operate and produces well popped kernels quickly with few to no duds. Cleanup with a paper towel to remove any dust or chaff is all that is necessary. Just flip the unit over to transfer the popcorn into the integral bowl and remove the attached cap that collects any duds or husks. Inexpensive and money well spent.

It’s easy to use, popped all kernels and a breeze to clean. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting an oil free popcorn.

Love this air popper! Had the other one with the chute and poporn would fly out. Also, had to wait 3 minutes before adding popcorn. This one, you add the popcorn at the start and in about a minute and a half, it starts popping. Just flip it over when done, and it’s in the bowl. Enjoy making popcorn almost daily!
