I had an old Presto Fry Grandaddy for close to 30 years that I loved for those homemade boneless chicken chunks and fries, when it went out I quickly order this new model. I like the new magnetic piece for help inserting the cord but haven’t used the plastic slotted spoon that came with it, I have a metal one that came with my old one that I prefer…something about using plastic in the very hot oil that doesn’t seem safe to me.
