This is a very good deep fryer and it’s easy to clean. I have used this Presto GranPappy to deep fry chicken and fish with great results.The fryer heats up in approximately eight to fifteen minutes depending on the amount of oil used. The fryer capacity is large enough to fry enough servings of food to feed a family of eight or a small group of ten to twelve people in approximately an hour. And for a family of four or less it would take approximately six to fifteen minutes or so depending on the type of food and quantity you’re frying. Prior to using place some newspapers or paper towels underneath the fryer to catch the splatter and be careful not to touch the very hot fryer exterior. I hope this review helps. Enjoy.
