My roommate and I were tired of going out and paying for wings so we picked this up. It’s great, made lots of mozzarella sticks, fries, and wings in here. Cooks your food well and is extremely easy to use. Another bonus for us was that it is very easy to clean.

The Presto Cool Daddy deep fryer is easy to use and very efficient. Frozen foods (chicken, potatoes) fry especially crispy at 375 degrees. Fresh potatoes take a bit longer than recommended on guidelines provided. We look forward to trying shrimp, and some fish soon. Has easy storage, easy clean up and stays cool on the outside, preventing accidental burns of the skin. The magnetic snap off cord is a very good safety feature in case of fire or need to quickly interrupt power to unit, as it’s not necessary to get to the outlet. The single round basket holds ample amt of food for frying, larger basket frying area on this model vs the dual basket model. Would definitely recommend this for anyone needing a quality deep fryer for home use. I also appreciate Home Depot’s online 800# doing such an efficient job in completing our order so proficiently. The delivery was without any problems, no damage to merchandise

The Picture of the fryer is not what I got. The 1 Flaw is that the condensed dip on the cord.Everything else is great except the window is smaller with the one I got.

This fryer is great so far. I’ve had it for about a month. Heats up fast and stays hot while frying. Doesn’t take up much room on the counter and looks nice. I love that you can raise the basket out of the oil without opening the lid. Also you can add the food, close the lid and then lower the basket. No grease splatter with this fryer.

We had the older CoolDaddy for about 4 years, loved it, but ready for the updated version. The new one has an “OFF” option on the knob plus temperature settings that is really handy depending on what we’re frying. We have used it several times for french fries, okra, donuts, etc. and it fries perfectly every time.
