First of all its capacity is large enough to deep fry a considerable amount of food. I fried shrimp, fish filets and scallops with ease and quickly. Once the oil gets hot you can just keep on going. Easy clean up also, when oil cools, dispose and put the basket and receptor in dish washer and voila! ready to go again. Great product for the price!

Large enough to feed a nice size family. I used for home made fries and they came out crispy and delicious.I love the tray as you can strain the oil by hooking the basket just above the oil chamber. Because it’s large it takes a lot of oil to fill.Cleaning it is easy; highly recommend

Being this is the first deep fryer I’ve owned, I can not compare it to others. This fryer is ideal for home use. Easy to use, easy to clean. Good for counter top use. Light weight but sturdy for the use intended. I would recommend this product. Also Home Depot is competitive with thier prices and the service is great.

This fryer works real good the guidelines for ffs is 375 but its too hot fry at 350, problem when you hook the basket on the end to drain the oil,to low it still sits in the oil, the bracket should have been welded down lower to lift the basket up more.
