I thought it would be bigger than my tanya rice cooker 10 cup. If you compare my 16 cup looks like an 8 cup. Works well. The volume is a bit misleading to me.

I use this rice cooker for making rice, brown rice and quinoa, but what I use it most for is making oatmeal.No more standing and stirring, no more scorching the bottom of yet another pan. Using a ratio of 1 part rolled oats to 2 parts water, push the button for cook/steam and you can leave it unattended. It will keep the contents warm for hours. Great convenience, great time saver.
