I have model #0600611. It is AMAZING – heats up super fast. I have had it for a few years and used it maybe 7 times because I just can’t work with the cord set-up. The cord is about 28 inches long and that is too short for me. Also, the cord attaches by a magnet. The slightest disturbance will make the magnet come loose. And now after sitting in the cupboard (cord inside), the long center prong of the power cord that sticks into the unit is loose and it makes little pops and turns off and on. I love the product and I’m going to try to find something that heats just as well, but has a better power setup. I wish Presto made a non-magnetic option.

Temperature dial allows it to be set to 400 but using multiple thermometers the oil will not rise above 350.If I had known this I would not have purchased.Otherwise it is a nice fryer.

Excellent fryer at a good price. Accurate controller with the safety feature of a magnetically attached cord. Best thing is the cooker, cover and basket are dishwasher safe when you remove the control.
