This 16 in. electric skillet fries, bakes, grills, roasts and makes one dish meals with ease. It features an EverNu cover that is so durable it won’t dent, warp, bend, or peel. The high dome cover will easily accommodate large roasts, ham and poultry. The heavy cast aluminum base is virtually warp-proof. Accurate cooking temperatures are maintained with the Control Master heat control. Stick-free cooking and easy cleaning are assured with the deluxe non-stick finish, inside and out. Skillets are fully immersible and dishwasher-safe when the heat control is removed.

The only issue I had with this skillet is the interior of the lid is not stain resistant. I cooked some tomatoes for a sauce and the lid has spots of red all over. I contacted Presto about it and they suggested the usual cleaners for stains; lemon, white vinegar, and Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. However, none of the cleaning suggestions worked so I caution you in using it for red sauces. Presto customer service refused to replace the lid and stated that as long as the skillet operates correctly that my only option was to purchase another lid at cost. Hopefully, in the future, Presto will improve upon this product so the interior of the lid is as stain-resistant as the exterior.

I have had Electric Fry pans in the past and this one heats up quickly, do pancakes, hamburgs, meatballs, sauces, Chinese cooking and have an easy clean up and as for utensil use, I suggest only use heavier plastic spatula’s and turners as the fry pan is coated with teflon and once it’s scratched it will ruin the pan. Easy soap and water clean up.
