The skillet features a 16 in. base for stability and high sidewalls so you can prepare a variety of dishes. The included tempered glass cover allows you to use the skillet as a buffet server and also helps prevent splattering while cooking. The skillet automatically adjusts to an ideal temperature with Control Master heat control and can be easily cleaned when you remove the heat control.

This electric skillet replaces one that I have had for many years. Before purchasing I looked in my local stores and most were of smaller size. This skillet is the perfect size. Large enough for family breakfasts and dinners. It heats up fast, non stick and cooks to perfection. Clean up is a breeze and love the see through glass lid. The handle/leg assemblies tend to loosen with use. Perhaps locking threads such as nylon inserts, etc. would improve the stability. Maybe just some small lock washers would help.

This is a great skillet for a party or a large family; or just a regular size meal. This skillet cooks the most evenly of any I’ve ever used. You can do a 16 piece chicken (leg&thigh) snugly. Works great.The lid doesn’t have any venting, but you can easily cock the lid for a simular effect.Don’t store the temp guage or anything else inside while storing, It will start to flake the the non stick.

This is the nicest electric skillet I have ever owned. It is heavy weight unlike most electric skillets that are very light. It is larger and certainly holds more than other skillets. The glass lid is very convenient, unlike the huge metal lids most electric skillets have. Anyone looking for an electric skillet would not go wrong with this one!! I researched prices and Home Depot certainly had everyone else beat on price by quite a bit. Who would guess that Home Depot would have the best price on an electric skillet.
