Deluxe Non-stick finish, inside and out, provides stick-free cooking and easy cleaning. Heavy cast aluminum base is virtually warp-proof. Saves energy-it’s more efficient than a range burner or oven. Fold down handles to detach skillet pan from base. With handles folded in the base and handles store in skillet for compact storage. Skillet and cover are fully immersible and dishwasher safe with the heat control removed.

This is the best electric skillet we have ever had, it is our fourth. We would try one for awhile then give it away, we just wasn’t satisfied with them. They would boil over, or get hot under the skillet we put it on a cutting board to protect our counters.n We have cooked a ham in this skillet, and a roast with carrots and potatoes it did not boil over, and the counter did not get hot. We really like this skillet it could be the last one we buy, unless we get one for my mother. The only thing I would do to make it better is to make it two inches deeper, then I wouldn’t have to cut the ham in half to make it fit.
