Description

Roast, fry, grill, stew, bake, and make one-dish meals in this Slimline electric skillet. It features high sidewalls for extra cooking and serving capacity with a low-profile Slimline design ideal for buffet-style serving, as well as saving on storage space. The deluxe nonstick surface, inside and out, makes it great for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and entertaining. The tempered glass cover and stay-cool handle provide easy access and visibility. Plus, it’s more efficient to use than a range burner or oven. The big 16 in. heavy cast aluminum pan is virtually warp-proof. The Control Master heat control maintains the desired cooking temperature automatically. Skillet is fully immersible with the heat control removed.

It has been many years since I’ve owned an electric skillet, but with all the time I have at home right now I find myself trying many new recipes and kitchen appliances. When I saw this skillet reviewed highly, and the fact that it takes less space than many of the others I saw (and I have limited space) I decided to try it. I have to say, I made a very good choice! It heats evenly, maintains a constant temperature, and even has room for an entire breakfast of eggs, sausage and dollar pancakes! Although the description states it can be washed in the dishwasher, I’ve found it’s so easy to clean I just wash it by hand. I’m very happy I chose the Presto Slimline.
