The Presto Tilt ‘n Drain 285 sq. in. griddle is constructed with a non-stick surface, built-in backstop ledge and Cool touch base for extra safety. It automatically controls the appropriate cooking temperature with Control Master heat control and can be fully immersed in water when the heat control is removed. The unique design can be tilted to drain fat away from meats or cook eggs and pancakes on a level surface with pull-out handle controls. An included drip tray offers easy clean-up and disposal.

My boys are pancake fanatics and I make 40-50 at a time to get through the week, so I really purchased solely to make pancakes. It fits 6 adult sized pancakes with room to spare and they cook evenly, which is awesome. It could fit 9 if I went smaller but considering my old griddle only fit 3 medium pancakes, this cuts my cooking time by more than 50%. I haven’t used the Tilt and Drain feature yet but the drip tray locks in solid and the tilt feature seems stable.The only downside is that the griddle is so big that you have to have a space to store it, but you know that going in when you get something this big.

I have had this griddle for nearly two months now, and it has performed perfectly each time I have used it so far. The extra large surface makes preparing large breakfasts a snap. I do like the tilt n’ drain option, however, be warned that if you cook up a large batch of bacon, the grease drawer will overflow onto your counter… found that out the hard way. Overall, I am very pleased with this griddle, and with Home Depot’s service.

This is a must have when cooking for a crowd. We purchased this before a camping trip in which we were charged with making breakfast. We were able to fit 3 packs of bacon in one shot. Next I was able to get in 9 sunny side eggs and then 12 silver dollar pancakes. In about 40 minutes, we had all of the breakfast prepared for 12 people. The heat on this unit was pretty even throughout. Clean up was easy, just wiped it with a damp cloth while it was still warm.

We had a neighborhood pancake breakfast and this griddle made feeding the masses a whole lot easier and faster because of it’s size. I didn’t get 12 cakes on the griddle because I used a ¼ measuring cup to put the batter on but I did get 9. And that was almost twice what I could get on my old griddle. The outside cakes cook faster than the middle but I just served from the outside first. Because of its size storing it becomes a concern but it’s the least of my concerns.

We have six children, so making things like pancakes for the family takes quite a while with a traditional pan or two. You can fly through cooking with the huge cooking surface on this griddle though. I love the ability to tilt the angle of the cooking surface down for cooking certain foods (like meats) that will need to drain. We’ve used the griddle for nearly a hear now, and it’s holding up great! I’m really happy with it and would purchase it again.

This griddle has been a great addition to our cooking. We love having breakfast once a week for supper (it’s just what we do. lol). I can put an entire pound of bacon on at once so our normal 2 lbs of bacon takes a fraction of the time it would in a skillet. Eggs are about the same if we scramble them but if we fry them, I will do 6 or 8 at once and it works perfectly and saves time. Everything we’ve thrown at it has done great. Burgers, fajitas, pancakes, sausage, etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
