Control Master heat control automatically maintains the desired cooking temperature. Heavy cast aluminum base is virtually warp-proof. Slide-out drip tray removes and cleans easily. We had the same brand but a slightly different griddle. We had to get a new one is because it fell and the legs broke off. This one with the removable legs is just as fantastic as our old one but it won’t break as easily! We use our griddle a couple of times per week. It’s my favorite kitchen item!

I buy a new one of these every 3-4 years. After that the calrod areas start to char and eggs start to stick. I like the checked surface. It holds the oil for pancakes, etc. However, it also holds Italian sausage residue so I try to use it only for bacon, eggs, and pancakes. It is the perfect answer to my breakfast.
