My husband dropped our long-used indoor smokeless grill and broke the base and, since he used it at least twice a week, it was a real loss. I chose this grill after a lot of research and decided to go with it since we have an electric griddle of the same brand. My husband is back to grilling. It cooks well, although he’s still working out how not to overcook steak….it sears the meat and cooks FAST. My husband has said the usable surface is larger than our old grill and the steaks smell wonderful while cooking, and taste good, too. Clean up is easy. Happy husband. Happy me.

Other than the need to protect surrounding areas from spatter, this unit is very good at what it was designed for, hot grilling indoors or out. It heats quickly, maintains a consistent temperature, and cleans up easily. The fact that the heating element is sealed off from water entering, makes it extremely desirable as an appliance for everyday use.I used a lower temperature than recommended consistent with what was needed to cook safely, to reduce spatter. That is the only issue I see, no spatter guard. This would happen with a pan on the stove, too, but this is not a stove accessory, it is for a table top. Opened paper bags or newspapers as an underlay helps.Juicy burgers, tender pork loins and delicious marinaded veggies can be expected when using this appliance. I am very pleased.

so far seems to be very worthwhile. i haven’t grilled everything as yet, but so far whatever i have grilled has come out perfect. super easy to clean and excellent price point. would surely recommend to anyone cooking for one or two people.
