The Proaim Universal Laptop Workstation is constructed from high-grade aluminum for strong, lightweight support and connects to C-stands with 1/4″-20, 3/8″-16, and 5/8″ threads. The mount beneath the tray is bomb proof with three different sized mounting points. Unfortunately, tray does not tilt if you wish to use tray as a podium. (Imagine microphone stand topped with a 5/8 inch stud adapter with tray attached to 5/8 inch stud. Tray will be flat and parallel to the floor.) Tray is rather stiff, which is good. The texture of tray surface is somewhat rougher than I like and detracts from the otherwise quality feel of the product. While is is a quality product it is overpriced, IMHO.
