I think the price for this disk was a bit high, especially as one must purchase other grits and they are only two inches in diameter. That and my limited experience using it make me less qualified than I could be. That said, it seems to remove stock faster than I expected. There is also a learning curve as you have to use a little finesse so as not to go to far with grinding. It ate white oak with ease and showed no wear after the little use I put it to. It feels like this disk will be great for power carving.
