Keep your laptop juiced up at home or on the go with the 150-watt Universal Notebook & LCD AC/DC Power Adapter from Prudent Way. Designed for worldwide compatibility, this AC/DC adapter accepts 120 to 240V AC input, and provides an adjustable output of 12 to 24V. The modular tip design features 12 different sizes of tips for a wide range of compatibility. Both AC and DC power cords are included, while a USB port provides 2A at 5V for a cell phone, tablet, or other accessory.
The Prudent Way Universal Notebook & LCD AC/DC Power Adapter features more than 80% efficiency, as well as overload and short circuit protections. An LCD screen shows selected voltage, while an LED indicates when the adapter is running. Interchangeable laptop charging connectors include 6.0 x 4.4, 6.3 x 3.0, 5.5 x 2.5, 5.5 x 2.1, 5.5 x 1.7, 4.8 x 1.7, 4.0 x 1.7, Samsung 5.5 x 3.0, Dell 3-Pin, Toshiba 4-Pin, and Lenovo or IBM 7.9 x 5.5 tips. Two 7.4 x 5.0 size connectors are also included, one designed to fit Dell and the other tailored to HP laptops.
Please note, as per the manufacturer, it is recommended to avoid starting your vehicle’s engine while the adapter’s DC connector is connected to the cigarette lighter, in order to prevent power interruption and any damages to your notebook and its software.

I’ve had two of these top of the line 150 Watt universal power supplies from Prudent Way. Both have failed with normal use. First one literally blew up with flames. Next one just died on me although it was under no more than 110w load MAX. 90w laptop and the USB output. It had been used less than 30 times but was just over a year old. Hence out of warranty. I emailed PrudentWay about the problem but never heard back. I was told earlier by PrudentWay that this adapter would have all sorts of overload / over current / overheat protections to prevent such issues from happening. Unfortunately now I’ve lost faith in the brand. Really a shame because it was one of only a few models I can use for my work as a traveling film maker.
