I have been using Pyrex products for years and I just love these! I don’t really like using a lot of plastic containers to store my food. These come in good sizes for leftovers, snacks, and the larger size is perfect for side dishes. I’ve microwave, baked in them and they stack great in the fridge or freezer. I like that the lids are different colors so I can grab the right one without trying the wrong one on by mistake. Hubby takes the 2 smaller sizes to work in his lunch, they stack nicely in his lunch bucket. Just remember, these are glass, so take precautions accordingly.

These really are great bowls! They’re made of the same glass that Pyrex is known for so you know they will last. The lids seal well for as basicas the appear and are made of good quality. For the price, they are comparable to plastic bowls, but a much better quality that won’t stain when you use them in the microwave. And since they are dishwasher safe and clear glass they are a great replacement for all of the plastic discolored leftover containers! They are also well packaged in their box so no worries shipping them to home.

Fantastic storage containers – and they even come with extra lids! I love these Pyrex glass storage containers. They’re oven safe and freezer safe. The small ones are great for storing cooked rice in the freezer, then reheating in the microwave. The medium sizes are about perfect for lunches or leftover pasta. I also like to put salsa or queso in them. They are the perfect size for dipping chips, and then I can pop a lid on them and put them in the fridge if I don’t finish it up.The largest container is likely the most practical size for reheating in the oven. I stored some leftover spaghetti in that one, and popped it in the oven to reheat. I imagine it would be fantastic for a small casserole or scalloped potatoes too. The fact that it comes with extra lids is fantastic. I’ve had Pyrex storage in the past (as well as other brands) and the plastic lids always seem to break sooner than the glass, in fact I think I’ve never broken a glass Pyrex before. But the lids can crack over time with daily use and especially in the freezer. So thoughtful to include additional lids (and – just my luck – these extra lids fit a couple ‘orphan’ glass containers I had from a few years ago). The colored lids are refreshing, too. Red is a common color for Pyrex and other brands… I like seeing the teal, blue and white in this set. Makes the product a bit more exciting!

Description says “Plastic lids are top-rack dishwasher safe, refrigerator and microwave safe”. I put a bowl in the microwave and set it to reheat. Lid is sucked into the bowl and now lid is deformed and will no longer securely attach to bowl. So what exactly does microwave safe mean?

I absolutely love this set! Bought one, and then got another after deciding to get rid of all my plastic storage containers! It won’t melt or blister like plastic can, and also doesn’t taint the flavor of the food!

Wow! did I ever get kudos when these arrived at our house. My wife had been looking at many different stores for food storage containers. She didn’t want plastic, which are cheaper, so they had to be glass with a tight plastic lid. I saw these on line but didn’t really get a chance to see/touch them, but I just took a chance. When they arrived, we opened the box. She examined them and said these are exactly what she has been looking for.

This is a very nice set of glass storage bowls with lids. There are two extra lids for the medium sized bowls. So there are really 7 glass storage bowls and 9 lids. These can go in the oven or microwave and the freezer. I really got them so I could use them in my Instant Pot. There is a way of cooking in the Instant Pot with a trivet and another bowl. It is a great way to cook rice, vegetables, steel cut oats, etc. Using the bowl in the pot makes it easy to serve and then store the leftovers. The lids cannot go in the oven or other cooking device, but can go in the dishwasher. The lid colors are attractive and the bowls nest easily for storage. The largest bowl fits in my 6 qt. Instant Pot perfectly. Smaller ones can of course be used too. It is always nice to have attractive storage containers.

These are cylindrical shape glass containers with plastic covers. The glass is clear and thick and seems that it will last a long time with regular use. The glass will not retain color or odors from food and are safe for microwave and dishwasher; but there are only seven containers in this 16-piece set. There are nine covers with two extra different sizes as spares. The covers are easy to attach and remove and is safe for the dishwasher top rack.
