This rectangular 3 qt glass baking dish is a very nice weight and size. With the handles, one on each end, integrated into the dish, it’s easy to get a good hold on it without worrying about losing your grip.. It’s a perfect size for casseroles that will bake more quickly in a rectangle than a circular dish of the same size volume because the food is in a thinner layer in this shape. Also, I love the red rubberized plastic lid to cover your dish after it cools to protect the flavors in the refrigerator. It also cleans easily with a little soak in the sink. A quality baking dish.

I really like this when I first got it, but over time I have noticed a number of “defects” in its usefulness. First, it’s either too shallow or the lid is badly designed because I can’t bake a cake in it and put the lid on without it mashing into the the top and making a mess. That probably doesn’t matter to casseroles and such, but if what you bake rises to within 1/4 inch of the rim, forget it. It also hasn’t been baking evenly. Maybe that’s an issue with glass bakeware in general, I don’t know, but no matter whether I push it all the way to the back of the oven or keep it near the front, there’s a dip and an “undone” spot. Finally, the lid warps. Since it doesn’t seal on the entire rim, it warps and one or both ends don’t stay down. It’s supposed to be able to tolerate the dishwasher, but even when hand washing, it has issues. It just need reengineered.

This is probably the best baking dish I have ever used! I have never seen a baking dish that came with a lid for it. Now I don’t have to transfer leftovers to a different dish and waste it. It cleans up really well and the lid is snug on it.

Great size and easy to lift with side handles. This Pyrex baker is not heavy. I used it right away for Lasagna and it came out perfect. The glass is easy to wash. You can use it in the oven once you preheat beforehand. Cannot be used on stove top or under broiler. It is 9 x 13 inches so is too large for my microwave. Pyrex can be put in the dishwasher and It has a nice BPA-free cover to keep things fresh in the refrigerator.

This baking dish is exactly what i needed. It’s easy to transfer from the oven, to the counter and to the table. It has a secure fit plastic lid to keep food fresh. The lid and baking dish are dishwasher safe. I have made many meals using this baking dish. There is no stains or smells on the glass. The leftover food we have, tastes fresh the next day. A great baking dish to use for hot or cold meals. You can even take it to an event.

My wife loves this 3-qt glass baker with red lid. See made some devil eggs and put them in this bowel which it filled it up 2 layer in the bowel and she put the lid down and lock in place with no problem and she didn’t have to worry about the lid coming off. When the lid goes on it snap on very secure so what ever you put in the bowel it stay the lid is very secure. We used it a couple off times taking it to Christmas dinners and people loved it and has not let us down yet it has kept our food inside the bowel with out the lid coming off. This glass baker with red lid will last along time you can’t beat it.

I use this dish for all of my casseroles. It’s an odd shape for a baking dish, but I love that it’s slightly bigger than a traditional 9×13 dish, because my casseroles never cook over the edges of the dish into my oven. The lid is a great design too, because it doesn’t cover the handles! I also have a heated carrying case that it fits into, which makes taking it to potlucks and family gatherings very convenient.

I’ve had many Pyrex baking dishes over the years, but never with the easy grab handles or a lid. This comes with both and it makes a handy baking dish even handier. The handles are very easy to get a hold of and get in and out of the oven. I use this baking dish mostly to make bread rolls and sliders in, so the handles for taking in out of the oven are a tremendous help. The lid makes it great for storing food or for taking pre-cooked food to pot lucks. Glass bakes evenly, you can see if the bottoms of food are browned enough, so there food is always perfectly cook. Pyrex stands the age of time and are timeless as long as extreme temperature changes are avoided. You just can’t go wrong with Pyrex, plus, iIt cleans up like new after each use. I’m very pleased with this baking dish and happy to have it in my glass bakeware cooking arsenal.
