It is easy to see 6 piece set and not realize that the lids are counted as a piece, so you end up with 3 dishes with lids instead of 6 dishes with lids, but the bottom line is you get 3 different sizes of Pyrex glass bake ware, which is one of the 3 most stable and safest cook ware options available. Th largest size in this kit is also the same size that comes in the insulated carrier kit that Pyrex has, so that is an added bonus. Overall they are a great value.
