These are wonderful storage containers and the variety of sizes works very well. They nest well for storing in my kitchen cabinet when not in use. The lids fit snugly and prevent aromas from the stored items from permeating the refrigerator. Reheating is readily accomplished by taking the lids off and putting the glass containers in a microwave or over. The small sizes are particularly nice because they efficiently hold small amounts of food that otherwise would take up lots of space in an oversized container.

Pyrex never disappoints. There is a good selection of sizes and the lids fit securely. We are trying to move to all glass containers for leftover food storage, and these are perfect for most sizes of the leftovers we have. Nice to have something you can store and reheat in. You do need to make sure glass has time to warm to room temperature before heating or you risk breaking- but they include safety instructions with the set.

We like the fact that the bowls all stack up inside each other so nice as not to take up a lot of space. The lids fit nice and tight yet are easy to remove. Being able to use them for cooking in the microwave and being able to refrigerate in the same bowl keeps the washing down to a minimum in the kitchen. They are of good size and heavy glass and also deep enough for our soups etc.

What a nice set of Pyrex. I like Pyrex because they are so versatile and long lasting. Microwave a bowel of chili in one of these Pyrex bowels and then microwave the chili in a Tupperware bowel. No comparison to how well each one holds up or will last. The Pyrex will come clean and the Tupperware will be stained forever. I also like the Pyrex lids. They fit nice and tight to contain any type of spill potential. I’m positive these will last for years.

These are really strong, sturdy, heavy and thick Pyrex baking dishes. Because of the size ranges that are included in the set you can make almost anything in them. The set includes one 7-cup, four 2-cup, and two 4-cup round bowls and seven colored plastic lids. The set comes with a two-year limited warranty Because we use it in so many different environments we were glad to see that they are dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave & pre-heated oven safe. Also since they are made of glass they do not absorb food odors, flavors or stains. When we got the box in the mail we were really surprised at how heavy it was, but when we opened the well packaged box we saw why and that really impressed us about this set. Then when we used it to make things this weekend our impression was well warranted. They will obviously provide years of serve to us.

If you’ve used Pyrex dishes before, then you know what these will be like – they’re always good! I already had several Pyrex dishes that I use every single day, and I decided to get this set because it offers some smaller sizes that I don’t have. The dishes are perfect for storing leftovers or doing meal planning. They’re easy to wash in the dishwasher. Most of my other sets have lids that are all one color. It’s actually nice to have a bunch of different colors so you can easily tell them apart.

I know some plastic containers are supposed to be microwave safe, but we still have questions about it. Especially if you should accidently over heat the unit. Our thoughts are why chance any leaching effect when you have a nice glass option available. This glass set fits that bill. The bowls have a slight rim on the edge of the bowl, and the plastic lids snap firmly over this. The bowls nest nicely for storage.The Pyrex brand is well respected. What is interesting, I used to attend several auctions, and when Pyrex ware comes up, they always demand premium price.

This set by Pyrex is ideal. The clear glass lets you see what is stored without removing from the refrigerator or opening the lid. They nest very nicely and therefore sit on a shelf or in a drawer without taking up a lot of space. The set contains two 1-cup bowls, two 2-cup bowls, two 4-cup bowls, and a 7-cup bowl. The glass and lids are very sturdy. Perfect for reheating food in the microwave. They arrived in a very substantial box with great protection between the pieces.
