Drilled 2 holes then it was dull Each hole took about 10 minutes to drill. Not for porcelain tile

Cut through tile and attached grab bar. Hard to keep the bit wet as directed. Cut 5 holes and seemed to be used up.

worked very well but difficult to remove the core piece I have used another bit that has a slot down the side which made it a lot easier to remove the plug Drilled multiple holes well but was a pain to clean the center plug out

works great

The drill was used to put holes in tile to assist in removal of tile without damaging remaining tile. The drill work well when following the directions.

worked great

Much better that carbide bits. Only issue is, need to stop often to clean the hole in the middle. Also it is difficult to start precisely at center since bit is not pointed

Pretty good bit. I used with porcelain tile and the Qep wet container kit. The bit that came with the kit bent on the second hole. This bit was good for 4 or 5 holes then got dull. The bit gets easily jammed with stuff, so have something close by to get it out. Otherwise the bit can’t go into the tile very far when it’s inside is plugged.

Did the job with out chiping and quickly. Hanging the bowed shower rod was painlessly.

Handles ceramic tile very well with occasional water applied for cooling. Approx 18 holes drilled and no noticeable loss of ability.

Ground through porcelain tile fine. Required guide

I had to drill through a very extremely difficult ceramic tile. This took some time but it’s the one that got the job done.

Great drill bit

Drilling trough ceramic can be tough, but the QEP 1/4 in. Pro Wet/Dry Diamond Hole Saw did the trick. I would suggest spraying the tip with water if possible while drilling. Also make sure that you clean the drill bit after drilling a hole. The center gets clogged with debris with each use.

Drilled multiple holes in glass and ceramic wall tile, dipping the tip in water periodically to keep it cool. It held up well, and I can still useit in the future if needed.
