We were misinformed that we would have to use a drill bit for porcelain/ceramic tile and keep it wet in order to cut a hole in our glass tiles in our shower. Contractor tried the first few times, broke a few tiles…and then finally got a jagged hole using a different bit that was not made for glass. Turns out he didn’t even line up the dry wall hole with the pipe in the wall, so we were worried that we would have to chip off the existing tile to get a whole new one in and drill a hole. Bought this at home depot, and it took my husband like 3 minutes to get the hold a little bigger in the right place. Highly recommend – used it on white glass tiles that had cracked with different hole saw bits. This was easy to use and worked perfectly with the glass tile.

My my my this thing works great. Had to make holes on the floor so just let the weight of my drill do the work.

Cuts much faster then the original version. Ive only used ut 3 times so far so I’m unsure if if really does last 10x longer but so far I like it

Great bit. Buy the blue, not the cheaper one. Take your time, let the bit work, vac out dust as it builds.

Cut tile perfectly

Easily cut a clean hole. Without a pilot hole I had to make a jig to keep the drill from wandering. This took much longer than the actual drilling.

I’ve never tile before and I’ve never had to cut holes in tile before so this a total noob review. I threw this bit into my drill press and cut perfect holes in my floor tiles. I went slow and would take short breaks and wet the area with a sponge. I cant imagine doing this with a hand drill unless of course you have one of those drill guides to steady everything. But it worked perfectly for me.

Does what it is supposed to do. Read the instructions and it will last longer. Drilled perfectly through two bathrooms worth of tiles/holes. Did not chip tile or break it.
