I used this file to notch glass tiles in a backsplash I installed so I could install some of the outlet and switch screws. Worked great. I rinsed the tile frequently with water.

Great for shaping glass

Purchased this file to smooth off a chipped edge on tempered glass. This worked perfectly. Filed the sharp edge off the glass and then used emery cloth to smooth it even more. This file also works well on various types of ceramic and other tiles.

A must-have if you’re cutting ceramics and the cut edge will be seen.

The tool worked as supposed too, but on clear glass tile it leaves a very rough and milky surface which needs to have a finer finish.

Great so far… Solid tool and handle. A round and curved side to blade for multi outcomes. Use for stone contouring and edge softening before polishing. Also tile corner cut cleaning. Only used a few times after replacing another brand that is no longer available that lasted many years. Will try to update review after more use.

Worked very well shaping the cut edges of travertine tile so they looked natural. Didn’t take much effort either. Nice tool ! Glad I purchased it.

I am a journeyman tilesetter with 40+ years experience. This is a great tool. I use this file to dress the exposed inside curves around fireplace stones when setting ceramic or porcelain floor tile. Nippers or wet saws can leave a ragged edge. A few strokes filing into the finished glaze leaves a smooth edge ready for grouting. Yes, it is a little salty in price, but it really makes a difference between an OK job and a “WOW!” job.
