A well made file that did what it was supposed to do. Pretty disappointed in Home Depot’s Masonry selection. Pretty bad when you have to custom make your own drill bit and extension just to cut a 1 1/2″ hole through concrete.

I recently installed some porcelain tile but my cuts weren’t as straight as they should have been. I read online how to file my tile so the edges are straight. This product was a reasonable cost and worked like a charm! I would definitely recommend it.

Bought this tool to file the edge of glass backsplash tile to fit into an area that I wasn’t able to cut again as the cut needed to be minute. This worked great to file it down to fit.

Best tool I have bought in a while. Far exceeded my expectations. I use it to remove chipping from edge of tile. Filing on a 45 degree angle I was able to remove chips as big as 1/32 and blend it with the rest of the edge with little effort. It won’t work well smoothing the edge of the base tile material; use a hand grinder with diamond wheel or belt sander.

Worked very well on porcelain tiles. Took some time to get the desired shape but that could be expected. Used it to smooth edges of tempered glass with great success too. Would recommend this to anyone needing to shape tiles. Tool seem durable. Used it for many jobs with no sign of wear or dulling.

This Tile File is excellent for filing down little bumps that may remain after a cut. The curved side is very useful for making smoothing out rounded corners. The saw is well designed and fits well in my hand with a ribbed non-slip rubber grip on the handle. Highly recommended to make small adjustments to a tile.

I had reserved feelings that this small file could actually do the job I needed. To my pleasant surprise it worked far better than I had hoped for. It would take off so much material from my porcelan tiles that i thought it was plugged, but a quick brush in water and it was again like new. I will recommend this file to friends and others.

Wish I had known about this one. I put in a glass back-splash in the kitchen and my first time doing tiling. I had been using a smoothing stone but it was laborious and took longer to get the edges safe to touch. A smoothing stone is stone like a grinder. This tool has diamond dust and was faster and light. Love it.
