The QEP 16 in. Universal Mixing Paddle mixes small volumes of thinset, grout, mortar, cement and plaster. Designed to reduce torque and pressure on the drill, this paddle may be used with both corded and cordless drills. For optimal performance, mix up to 5 lbs. of material at a time. This mixing paddle minimizes foam and air bubbles for successful installations.
- For mixing up to 5 lbs. of grouts, thinset and other setting materials
- Steel construction and spiral head for durability and optimal mixing

Do the job with no problem, I feels solid and well manufactured but the paint got remove in the first usage. I used in a plastic bucket. I just expect it does not rust with time, specially the welding joins.

I need a mixing paddle for Thinset and Grout that does smaller batches. This QEP 16″ Thinset and Grout Mixer fit the bill.The paddle fits a 1/2 in. and 3/8 in. drill chuck. When mixing I would not go over 300- 350 RPM’s. Otherwise you will be getting bubbles in your mix. It works really well and it was easy to clean up.

It was really nice how the tool can be used with 5 gallons and mix it well. It mostly is built well enough it will be around for years if no rust develops which in my business would be the end of its use, and I would by another one. I am a satisfied customer.
