The QEP model 61613, 16 oz. White Rubber Mallet is ideal for tapping tile into thinset, as well as many other uses. The white rubber head is specifically designed for minimum bounce when striking and will not mar surfaces. The slightly contoured hardwood handle provides a comfortable, firm grip.

Delivery as promised. Excellent condition. The head of the mallet was protected in a plastic bag to prevent damage, by anything other than me. No unpleasant rubber smell. And, the icing on the cake… No hazardous chemicals that would require a Prop 65 Warning. Great value !

This turned out to be a great little purchase. I bought it to use in installing some artificial “stone look” edging and it worked great for that. I also used it with some garden fabric staples and it was perfect for that use. I anticipate being able to use it for a variety of things in the future to take the place of a regular metal hammer. The handle is a good length and I found it to be just the right weight.
